Unlike most traditional and ‘vanity’ publishing companies, Bottle Rocket Press seeks to form a cooperative business model that will produce a network for independent authors and other artists and creators.

Through collaboration, members will be able to work on individual projects or collectively produce works of their own interests A true independent press, our mission is to provide a space for all creator to have their voices heard. We are not arbiters of taste, we are not the gatekeepers for the world of artists and creators. Like the impressionists, barred from the Salons of Paris, we will rise up and show the world that we creators don’t need the wealthy elites and their corporate structures of greed. Consumerism and commodification have turned the World of Art into a battlefield of competition, rather than the cooperation and community that have historically led to the greatest ages and creations of art.

Bottle Rocket Press was founded with the intent of creating a cooperative of creators. There are no employees, no management, no hierarchy. We don’t work for ourselves, we create for each other.
